Carla Ephgrave — Personal Trainer

Hi, I’m Carla, proud mom and grandma, dental professional, Life Coach, Children’s Coach, Nutrition Specialist and Group & Personal Trainer. I graduated with flying colors from Fit Chicks Academy, Canfitpro & Think Yourself Academy.
My personal fitness journey has lead me through all kinds of life milestones including a major back surgery 4 years ago & 3 Bodybuilding competitions! I recently competed in the Van Isle Showdown and the Vancouver Open placing 2nd in both! I am currently training for another show in Spring 2023 and have high hopes of getting my IFBB Pro Card.
By creating a modified weight training program along with special nutrition tweaks I managed to work through my back injury until surgery and endured a rather quick recovery. The neurosurgeon proclaimed if it wasn’t for these feats and being persistent at maintaining my activity I may have succumbed to a long and painful road pre-surgery to rehabilitation.
I not only train physically but mentally too, believing, living and breathing this simple yet profound statement that has been a life long motto of mine: MIND OVER MATTER. I know without a doubt and I’m living proof that no mater what, if you put your mind to it ANYTHING is POSSIBLE!
I work with and take pride in people who want a reinvigorated start on health, fitness…and life! Through my innovative, personalized fitness programs and holistic, wholesome meal plans I’m here to guide you with an enthusiastic approach while making it all feel like it’s as simple as brushing your teeth

I also have a background working as a Health and Safety/Disability Manager in a food production plant. Part of my training included Ergonomics in the Workplace, Risk Assessments for repetitive strain injuries and injury prevention strategies.


I have endured my own struggles with fitness and weight loss, and found the only way to succeed was to do it! No excuses!
